Adoption Stories

These are the dogs who found their families. They were cared for by Blue Waters Dog Rescue in Pompano Beach, FL, and they have gone home.

Gone home

Adopted

Every dog deserves a family of their own. These dogs found theirs.

Cletus

Status
Adopted

Every dog deserves a family of their own, and Cletus found his. We're so glad he's home.

Cletus is great at matching your energy: if you're hyped up, he's hyped up, and if you're calm, he's calm. He likes a swim in a life vest, a good game of fetch, and sleeping in the bed.

Ghost

Status
Adopted

Every dog deserves a family of their own, and Ghost found one. We're so glad.

We're wishing Ghost a lifetime of good meals, soft beds and plenty of love.

Many more dogs are still looking for homes of their own. Meet the dogs waiting for a family.

Still waiting

Who's next?

Lottie is the dog we hope you will meet next. This is her write-up from our wellness director, in Stephanie's words.

Ask us about adopting

Lottie is a sweet young girl, about 1½ years old, who absolutely loves everyone she meets! She is wonderful with kids and has never met a stranger.

Lottie is happiest simply being with her human, whether she's getting some love and attention or curled up happily chewing on one of her favorite bones.

She's young, loving, and ready to find the family who will love her forever. Lottie has so much love to give and is just waiting for someone to give her a chance.

Could Lottie be the missing piece to your family?

Some are looking for homes. Debarkus and Bo are in foster care and are not available for adoption. Our sanctuary dogs will spend the rest of their lives with us.

Ways to help

Adopt, foster, donate, or volunteer. Each one helps the dogs in our care.
